Our story
A family business at industrial scale
Pelekis Electronics was founded in 1989 by Evangelos Pelekis to develop electronic products and manufacture them at industrial scale. It remains a family business to this day: management has passed from the founder to the second generation, the brothers Marios and Ilias Pelekis, who lead the company today.
We are based in two industrial buildings we own in Attica, where every product is designed, manufactured and tested. Roles and responsibilities in our team are defined clearly and on merit, and decisions are made collectively.
2027 · OUR NEW HOME
1,500 m² designed for the next decade
During 2027, the company moves into its own new building: three floors of modern equipment, organized from the ground up around the flow of production. More space means greater production capacity, faster deliveries and even stricter quality control.

More than three decades, step by step
1989 The beginning
Evangelos Pelekis founds the company in Attica.
1995 Exclusive supplier of floor indicators
Working with the largest manufacturers of lift operating panels in Greece.
2003 The first Greek emergency phone
We design and manufacture the first lift emergency phone in Greece.
2005 ISO 9001
Quality management system certified by TÜV Austria Hellas.
2007 First time at Interlift
Our first appearance at a European lift trade fair, in Germany.
2010 A second building of our own
Construction of a new 400 m² building to house our growth.
2012 HVAC department
We expand into control systems for heating, cooling and ventilation.
2013 The most important hire of the decade
Rohan arrives, our four-legged head of reception and (unofficially) quality control. Famous among customers and partners alike, he has not missed a single day of work.
2017 A new SMT production line
We add another Siemens SMT line and increase our capacity.
2020 Leader in Greece
Leader of the Greek market in emergency communication systems for lifts.
2023 Plexiglass operating panels
The only plexiglass operating panels in Greece give the lift a completely different look, which the public loved from the very first moment.
Today Exports across Europe

From design to production
Everything happens under one roof
We design our own electronics, from the circuit to the software, produce them on our own Siemens production lines, and even make their enclosures ourselves. That way we control quality at every step, and we can adapt a product to the needs of each customer.

Hardware and firmware development by our own R&D department.
SMT production
Assembly of surface-mount boards on the company’s SMT lines.
THT production
Assembly of boards with conventional through-hole components, by our own people.
Enclosure manufacturing
The cases of our devices are made in-house: a cutting laser and press brakes for the metal ones, and three lasers for the plexiglass and plastic boxes.
Testing
A functional test of every unit before packaging.

A three-year full replacement warranty and lifetime technical support.

Beyond our borders
From Interlift 2007 to all of Europe
Since 2007, when we first presented our products at Interlift, the international lift trade fair in Germany, Pelekis Electronics has been known beyond our borders too. We have returned as exhibitors every two years since, to meet our partners and get to know new ones.
Today our products travel across Europe through a network of representatives, while we are also developing new partnerships in the Middle East.

Since 2005, we have applied a Quality Management System to the design, assembly and trade of electronic devices, today certified to ISO 9001:2015 by TÜV Austria Hellas. For every product we have full documentation, declarations of conformity and certificates, available on request.
